Hero Kinderdagverblijf Tempeliersstraat 1

Welcome to Hero Daycare Tempeliersstraat 1, located in a unique and atmospheric building right in the center of Haarlem. Our location accommodates 56 children and features a huge indoor garden and renovated outdoor garden where children can play spaciously, even in the middle of the city. Babies have a separate area where they can safely crawl and play. Inside, there is a central play hall on both the ground floor and the second floor where children can run and play with mats or complete a gym course. The atmosphere with us is informal, enjoyable, and relaxed. We work with four groups: two baby/toddler groups for children aged 0 to 2 years and two preschool groups for children aged 2 to 4 years. In the preschool groups, we use the playful Uk and Puk program. This program works with themes that connect to toddlers' world of experience and playfully sparks their curiosity. It forms a beautiful stepping stone towards primary school. Our mission is to embark on an adventure every day together with the children on their way to becoming the best version of themselves. Our core values Adventure, Fun, Learning, and Attention are important to us and guide our policy and way of working. There is plenty of room for development. Children are allowed to try things out themselves and are guided, supported, and stimulated in this process.
