Hero Kinderdagverblijf Ringweg

Located on Ringweg in Spaarndam, our Hero daycare provides childcare for children aged 0-4. The daycare, together with our toddler care, forms part of the Spaarndam Childcare Centre. The two baby groups on the first floor feature a sensory room with a transparent water column that constantly changes colour. The youngest children often lie fascinated, watching it. On the sheltered rooftop terrace, babies can play safely outdoors. For the two toddler and preschool groups, there is a large natural garden where they can go on daily adventures together and let off steam with the water track and in the sandpit. There are tree trunks to climb on, a wooden house, and a tunnel made of brushwood. During holidays, the oldest children play in the gym of the adjacent village hall when the weather is bad. What is special is that we use the playful Uk & Puk programme in our preschool groups. This programme focuses on themes that align well with toddlers' world of experience and playfully sparks their curiosity for more. A wonderful stepping stone towards primary school. The childcare centre is the only location for young children in Spaarndam. As a result, most parents know each other from the neighbourhood, and the children make friends at a young age with peers they will likely meet again in kindergarten. During the annual village festival, the childcare centre organises a special activity for the toddlers from the daycare and toddler care, themed around that year's event. Our mission is to embark on an adventure every day together with the children, guiding them towards the best version of themselves.
