Hero BSO Klein Heiligland

Hero BSO Klein Heiligland is located in the historic heart of Haarlem, at Klein Heiligland 84. This after-school care facility offers a welcoming and creative space for up to 30 children aged 4 to 12. As part of Stichting Hero kindercentra, we provide small-scale, safe and familiar childcare where every child is encouraged to be themselves. Culture is at the heart of our approach. We make use of the rich cultural environment of the city and introduce children to art, history and creative expression. Our team of dedicated pedagogical staff know each child personally and support their development with care and attention. The spaces are thoughtfully designed to offer both calm and stimulation. We pick up children from nearby primary schools and offer care after school, during study days and in the holidays. Children are free to choose their own activities, and we also offer structured options such as arts and crafts, games, outdoor play and cooking together. Our location is easily accessible and within walking distance of many schools in Haarlem. We believe in creating a home-away-from-home where children feel safe and valued. Small groups and personal attention are key to our approach. Parents are always welcome and we maintain open communication through our website and regular parent meetings.
