Hero BSO Bernard Zweersstraat 2

Welcome to Hero BSO Bernard Zweersstraat 2, the sporty after-school care centre in the heart of Haarlem. We are located in the welcoming clubhouse of korfball club HKC, right next to Sint Bernardusschool and Franciscus Xaveriusschool. From the moment the school bell rings we pick the children up and bring them to our own space where more than 30 children (aged 4-12) can move, play and discover every afternoon. Our site offers direct access to spacious sports fields and a safe, green play area. Together with SportSupport we run weekly sports clinics where children are introduced to new and familiar sports. Besides sports there is plenty of room for free play, crafts, theatre, board games or simply relaxing in our cosy indoor areas. Cooking with children is also part of our regular programme; we enjoy trying healthy recipes together and then tucking into the self-made results. We work closely with our sister BSO at Bernard Zweersstraat 1, so children from both locations join in activities together and get to know one another. Our pedagogical staff are ready every day to give the children a safe, challenging and above all fun afternoon. At Hero BSO Bernard Zweersstraat 2 children grow confidently at their own pace and discover the hero within themselves.
