Hero BSO Velserstraat 55

Hero BSO Velserstraat 55 is a warm and safe after-school care facility located in the heart of Haarlem. We are part of Stichting Hero kindercentra and provide care for up to 120 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is situated on the ground floor of primary school De Werkschuit, allowing children to stay in their familiar school environment after classes end. Every afternoon we offer a varied activity program. Children can get creative in our craft studio, enjoy physical activities in the gym, or play outside on the spacious school playground. Our qualified pedagogical staff pick up the children from school and guide them to our BSO space. Here they have the freedom to play, relax, and make new friends. For younger children (4-6 years) we provide a protected environment where they can get used to after-school care. Older children (7-12 years) receive more challenges and freedom to choose their own activities. We work closely with parents and the school to ensure our care meets each child's individual needs. Our BSO is open on school days from the end of school until 18:30. During school holidays and study days we offer full-day care from 7:30 to 18:30.
