Hero BSO Obistraat

Hero BSO Obistraat is located in the playground building at Obistraat 97 in Haarlem-Noord. As an after-school care facility, we make full use of the entire premises: a large open indoor space, a computer corner and a complete kitchen where children regularly cook. Outside there is a spacious, green playground that is exclusively available to our after-school care group. The location accommodates up to 36 children aged 4 to 12 years and is registered in the National Childcare Register under number 328425151. Our pedagogical staff work from the vision of Stichting Hero kindercentra: children are given the space to develop in their own way, learn through play and have fun. After school, children can choose from various activities such as cooking in our kitchen, playing games in the computer corner or romping around in the large playground. The open indoor space invites movement and playing together, while the quiet corners provide space for relaxation or homework guidance. The location works together with primary schools in the immediate vicinity, including the Vrije School Kennemerland. We pick up the children after school and bring them safely to our after-school care. The proximity of the playground makes outdoor play a natural part of our offering. During the summer months, the garden is intensively used for outdoor play, sports and games. Hero BSO Obistraat is a place where children feel at home. Our permanent team of pedagogical staff knows each child and knows what concerns them. We offer a safe, challenging environment in which children can discover who they are and what they are good at. After a busy school day, our after-school care is the perfect place to relax or release energy.
