Hero BSO Melkerijpad

Hero BSO Melkerijpad is located in the clubhouse of baseball club Sparks in Noordersportpark, Haarlem. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 12 from Bavinckschool and primary school de Zonnewijzer. The location is surrounded by sports fields, a petting zoo, swimming pool de Planeet and the Schoterbos forest, offering a green and active environment for children to play and explore after school. Our focus is on fun and development. Children can take part in sports activities like baseball and team sports, as well as creative activities such as arts and crafts, painting and dress-up play. We have a sand play area, table football, a construction corner and a doll corner. Throughout the year we organise sports activities and make full use of the outdoor space. Our qualified staff guide the children with care and encourage them to try new things and develop their talents. The BSO has two group rooms: one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The ground floor room is shared during the baseball season with Sparks. The upstairs room is used exclusively by us and offers a quiet space for creative activities or relaxation. We believe it's important for children to feel safe and at home, so we provide a warm, homely atmosphere with room for both active and quiet moments. Our mission is to go on an adventure every day together with the children on their way to becoming the best version of themselves. We believe in the importance of outdoor play, social interaction and discovering personal interests.
