Hero BSO Boezemkade

Housed in an old fort, on perhaps one of the most beautiful spots in Spaarndam, our BSO is located at Boezemkade. At this BSO of Hero kindercentra, children and pedagogical staff literally go on an adventure together every day: fishing, canoeing, skating, but also playing football on the football field and playing in the playground are daily activities at this unique location. The “hidden” backyard with trampoline and sandbox completes the BSO. The kitchen is regularly transformed into a cooking café where children come up with and try out their own recipes. The group rooms are tailored to the different age groups (horizontal groups). The youngest “heroes” enjoy themselves with timeless toys, such as dress-up clothes, dolls and cars. Their rooms have a cozy atmosphere. The older groups have seating areas where children can play games in small groups or ‘hang out’ together after school. Many children prefer to play outside. And for those who come back covered in mud, there is even a washing area. Because getting dirty is part of growing up…
