Welcome to Helen Parkhurst daycare, located in the brand-new Dalton Child Centre at Baambruggestraat 2 in The Hague. We provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in three spacious, bright groups perfectly tailored to your child's age and development. Our location features its own nature and discovery garden accessible directly from each group. This green outdoor space offers plenty of opportunities for play and discovery in the fresh air. For the youngest ones, we have a special baby island safely separated from the rest. At Helen Parkhurst, we work with the development program Piramide. This program stimulates your child's development with a strong focus on language development. We work thematically using subjects such as Summer, Art, Food and drink, and Living. In a playful way, your child becomes acquainted with new words and materials that fit the theme. This approach seamlessly connects to the preschool education we offer, ensuring your child is fully prepared for primary school. Our pedagogical staff maintain close connections with the Dalton school and Jongleren foundation. This collaboration ensures a continuous development line from daycare to toddler care, school, and after-school care. We believe it's important that your child can develop in a safe, familiar environment. Healthy nutrition and sufficient exercise are central to our approach. Additionally, we have a Mini Library with children's books where you and your child can borrow a book to enjoy at home. Helen Parkhurst daycare is part of gro-up childcare and operates according to the guidelines of De Haagse Scholen. We offer care from Monday to Friday with flexible childcare options. Our location is easily accessible and equipped with secure entry.
