Welcome to Helden Opvang Oude Arnhemseweg, our daycare centre located in the heart of Zeist’s Dichterswijk district. Housed in a characteristic former bakery at Oude Arnhemseweg 234, we offer children aged 0–4 a true second home. The location has recently been completely refurbished in our signature Scandinavian style: calm colours, natural materials and abundant daylight create a warm, homely atmosphere where both children and parents feel at ease from the very first moment. Everything we do revolves around imagination and creativity. Our challenging green garden features a large sandpit where children can play and explore for hours. The very youngest have their own separate baby garden, allowing them to enjoy the outdoors safely and sheltered. Indoors we provide a variety of wooden play materials tailored to each child’s developmental stage. We believe every child is unique and develops at his or her own pace; therefore we give space and the right tools to make that happen. Through our partnership with Kinderboerderij De Brink – one of the largest city farms in the Netherlands covering two full hectares – we regularly go on excursions. There, children learn about animals, nature and the importance of care and respect for all living things in a playful way. Healthy, natural food is just as natural to us as playing outside every single day. In short: a wonderful place to grow up.
