Helden Opvang Gaesbeekerhof is located at Gaesbeekerhof 57 in the heart of Soest and is part of Helden Opvang, an organisation that has provided trusted and inspiring after-school care for more than ten years. Our location is set up as a homely Helden Club where up to 40 children aged 4 to 12 can go after school for rest, adventure and personal growth. We believe that children discover who they are and what they are good at through play. Therefore, every day we offer a varied programme of activities that children can choose freely. The activities match their age, interests and development. A fixed element is daily outdoor play; we use the spacious, green surroundings and cooperate with an organic farm so that children get to know animals and nature. We regularly visit the farm, where children learn about vegetables, fruit and caring for animals. Our pedagogical staff are ready with enthusiasm and professional knowledge. They provide a loving and safe environment in which every child feels at home. The rooms are stylishly and homely furnished, with quiet corners for reading or playing and challenging zones for sports and games. We are open 52 weeks a year, closed only on public holidays, and open until 18:30 so that parents have flexibility in their working hours. Helden Opvang Gaesbeekerhof works closely with primary schools in the immediate area. We pick up children and bring them to our location, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Together with parents we look at what a child needs: one day a child may choose a quiet activity such as crafts or reading, another day they may fully take on the challenge of adventurous outdoor play. In this way every child grows at their own pace and discovers their own talents.
