Welcome to Helden Opvang Brinklaan, our unique after-school care located in the beautiful historic vicarage of the Vitus Church at Brinklaan 117 in the heart of Bussum. At this special location, we provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years in a homely and atmospheric environment where everyone feels immediately at home. Our BSO is housed in a monumental building with a rich history, creating a special and inspiring place for children to play, discover and grow after school. We have our own pleasant space and also make use of the many facilities in and around the building, such as the gymnasium, the (reading) library and the challenging outdoor area that is sheltered behind the Vitus Church. At Helden Opvang, we believe it's important that children can enjoy outdoor play and movement every day. We encourage children to discover nature and even have a collaboration with an educational farm, where children can learn about animals, nature and the origin of our food. Additionally, we have our own vegetable garden where children can grow vegetables and herbs themselves. Our pedagogical professionals form a close-knit team that is dedicated every day to providing children with a loving and safe environment. We work with healthy and natural food, using fresh ingredients as much as possible. Through our parent portal and parent app, we keep parents informed of all their children's experiences through photos and stories. Helden Opvang Brinklaan is more than just childcare; it's a place where children can relax after school, let their creativity run free and make new friends in a warm and welcoming environment.
