Welcome to Helden Opvang at Amsterdamsestraatweg 55A in Baarn. Our daycare center is located in a beautiful building on the grounds of Villa Buitenzorg, at the edge of the forest and just a stone's throw from Hoeve Ravenstein farm. Here we provide loving care for up to 58 children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment designed in Scandinavian style. Everything we do revolves around peace, warmth and security. The spaces are light, fresh and clearly arranged with different play areas where children can discover their own interests. We work with horizontal age groups, each having dedicated pedagogical staff who optimally guide your child's individual development. For our youngest children, we follow a vision inspired by Emmi Pikler's philosophy, focusing on your child's inherent strengths. Our days follow a clear rhythm with fixed times for eating, drinking, sleeping and activities. Babies follow their own rhythm from home, while children from 1 year receive a warm, natural and fresh daily lunch prepared by Moekes Maaltijd - 100% natural and largely organic. We go outside every day: playing in our challenging garden with large sandbox, walking in the forest, or taking the wagon to Hoeve Ravenstein care farm where we visit our adopted cows. Children learn playfully about nature, seasons and food. For the youngest ones, we have a separate baby garden so they too can safely enjoy the outdoors. Sleeping outside is even possible! Our pedagogical professionals are carefully selected, passionate and continuously trained to provide your child with the best possible support.
