Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Haventje, located at Goudenregenstraat 2A in Woerden. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens and provide childcare for children from 0 to 4 years old. Our location has 32 childcare places and is housed within De Willem van Oranje school building, making drop-off and pick-up extra convenient, especially when older siblings attend this school. Our spacious and bright group area features a conservatory and accommodates 16 children. We have an enclosed outdoor space where children can play and explore safely. The playground is equipped with a sandbox, challenging grassy hills and a slide. Our storage area contains outdoor materials such as bikes, cars, tractors, balls and sandbox toys. We follow the Pedagogical Heart of Kind & Co Ludens. This means we give children space to feel comfortable and have fun, as only then can development take place. We provide trust and room to explore and be curious. For us, play equals discovery and learning, which is why we actively offer an inspiring and challenging environment. Our childcare is a mini-society where we care for each other and the world around us. For children aged 2 to 4, we offer toddler care with pre-school education (VE). We use the Uk & Puk method. Children with VE indication receive extra attention for Dutch language: speaking, listening and learning new words. We do this because young children can learn languages quickly and easily, preparing them well for primary school. The toddler group features various corners such as a painting board, two large tables for crafts or games, a home corner and a construction corner. Our horizontal group structure means children come together in age groups. This allows us to tailor activities and care to match each child's developmental stage. We take pride in providing a safe and stimulating environment where children can grow and discover.
