Havensingel

Welcome to BSO Havensingel, our welcoming after-school care facility located at Havensingel 17 in the heart of 's-Hertogenbosch. We are part of Kanteel Kinderopvang and provide care for children aged 4 to 12 years who attend primary school. Our BSO consists of two core groups: Havensingel I and Havensingel II, where children are cared for in age-appropriate groups. At our facility, playing, self-discovery and gaining experiences are central. Children have the space to discover new skills alone or together with others and to make their own choices. We offer a rich play and learning environment in which children can develop emotionally, socially, expressively, motorically, linguistically and cognitively. Our pedagogical staff are always nearby to guide and support where needed. Our activity program is diverse and challenging. We use the online DoenKids database which contains numerous activities that we select together with the children. Additionally, we regularly organize workshops with external parties - skiing is an absolute favorite! We also offer creative activities such as music, dance and drama. Children can express themselves in our LEGO corner, computer corner, pool table or kitchen island where they can prepare their own dishes. We work with a fixed yet flexible structure. During school weeks, we start at 2:00 PM with picking up children from school. Upon arrival, children receive drinks and fresh fruit, after which they can play freely. We discuss daily with the children what they want to do and adjust our activities accordingly. During school holidays, we are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and plan the day together with the children. BSO Havensingel collaborates with various primary schools in the area for picking up children. We use our own Kanteel buses for this purpose. Parents can register their child at multiple schools, after which we ensure safe pickup and transport to the BSO. We believe it's important that children feel safe and at home with us, where fun and development go hand in hand.
