Ska Kindcentrum Harlekijn

Welcome to Ska Childcare Centre Harlekijn, the day-care centre for children aged 0 to 4 in the Randenbroek district of Amersfoort. Our location at Wagnerstraat 18 has recently been completely renovated: all rooms have large windows and the walls are painted in light colours, creating a calm and homely atmosphere. At Harlekijn we work with vertical groups and an open-door policy. This means your child grows up among children of different ages. Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn together, allowing younger children to mirror older ones and everyone learns to deal with differences. We have room for up to 48 children and use a homely layout so every child feels at home quickly. Our pedagogical staff provide interactive learning moments every day, giving each child the space and attention to develop their talents and skills. We regularly go out into the neighbourhood: playing in playground De Klokhuis, shopping on Euterpeplein or walking in Randenbroek park. Our children’s favourite outing is cuddling the animals at Vosheuvel petting zoo. In our own garden there is also plenty of room to discover: babies have their own corner, while older children build sandcastles together or ride their bikes. Together with the neighbouring primary schools we ensure a smooth transition from the day-care centre to primary school. We teach children to cooperate, wait their turn and get them used to playing in the schoolyard environment. Half-day care is possible and we use flexible rates.
