Harlekijn

Welcome to daycare Harlekijn, located in a quiet, green area in the Hoograven district at Rijnhuizenlaan 20 in Utrecht. We are part of Kind & Co Ludens and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, familiar environment where every child is welcome to be themselves. Our daycare works with vertical groups, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and gives younger children the opportunity to learn from older ones. We use the 'Pedagogical Heart' of Kind & Co Ludens as our foundation: children feel safe, are given space to explore, and grow in a rich, inspiring environment. Outside, we have a specially designed (vegetable) garden where children can play, discover, and learn about nature. We offer outdoor cribs, so even the youngest can sleep safely outdoors. Our large playroom provides plenty of space for movement and creative activities such as crafting, singing, and reading aloud. We work with permanent, qualified pedagogical staff who ensure continuity and familiarity. Each group has a First Responsible Pedagogical Employee (EVP) who closely follows your child's development. We use the VVE program 'Doen, praten en bewegen' from the CED group to stimulate language, social-emotional, and motor development. Food, drinks, and diapers are included with us. We take food allergies into account and follow the guidelines of the consultation office. Parents are kept informed daily through our parent app and receive a monthly newsletter.
