Welcome to HappyKids Daycare ’t Speelkasteel, located at Hoofdweg 869 in Hoofddorp. Our daycare is housed inside the indoor playground “het Speelkasteel” in the Toolenburg district. We provide care for children aged 1 to 4 in a safe, colourful environment where play and development are central. With a maximum of 40 places, we work in small, horizontal groups so every child receives the attention they deserve. Our team is ready every day with the certified “Uk & Puk” developmental programme. This programme offers themed activities that match young children’s world of experience—language games, singing, movement and discovery. Children with a preschool education (VE) indication receive extra weekly guidance from a tutor, Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 11:30, ensuring they get exactly the stimulation they need before starting primary school. The location features a spacious, secure outdoor play area and separate sleeping rooms for each group. These quiet spaces are equipped with comfortable beds and blackout curtains, allowing every child to rest when needed. Parents can rest assured: all pedagogical staff hold at least an SPW3 qualification, receive annual first-aid training and are trained in our four core pedagogical principles: sensitive and responsive interaction, playful development of motor, cognitive and language skills, social skill-building and instilling common values and norms.
