We are HappyBees kindcentrum, located at President Brandstraat 29 in Amsterdam. Our location offers a warm, safe place where children aged 2 to 4 learn and grow through play, while positively discovering their Islamic identity. We weave faith into everything we do in a playful way, so that children grow up with beautiful habits and self-confidence. Our daycare works with horizontal groups: one toddler group for a maximum of 16 children. We provide pre-school education according to the Piramide Digital program, stimulating children's development in language, math, motor skills and social-emotional development. The group is open five days a week from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Children can attend a morning group (8:30 AM-12:30 PM), an afternoon group (1:30 PM-5:00 PM) or be cared for the whole day. We operate only during school weeks (40 weeks per year). Each child is assigned a mentor at the start who conducts at least one developmental conversation with parents per year. We use the BOSOS child tracking system to monitor children's development. Our pedagogical staff speak Dutch with the children and are guided by an external pedagogical policy advisor/coach. We value parent involvement through celebrations, play sessions, parent evenings and a closed Facebook page for parents.
