Happy Kids Dependance

We are BSO Happy Kids Dependance, located in the multifunctional center De Sleutel at Eikenlaan 88D in Spijkenisse. Our location is part of Partou and offers after-school care for up to 36 children aged 4 to 12 years. We work with two horizontal groups, where children play in bright spaces specially designed for different types of play. The hall is clearly structured, which perfectly matches the developmental level of the children. We make agreements with the children in advance about where they are allowed to go, and our pedagogical staff are strategically positioned throughout the space to maintain good visibility of all children. Our location is situated in the Groenewoud district and is part of a larger center that also houses other Partou facilities, including pre-school care Happy Kids, daycare Dikkie Dik, and toddler care Kleine Reus. Additionally, primary schools such as Marimba, MGR Bekker, and Piramide are located in the same building. This makes our location exceptionally suitable for after-school care. We are within walking distance of public transport, a playground on Iepenlaan, and shops. We regularly organize activities and workshops together with the main Happy Kids location. We do this to offer more challenging activities and to give children the opportunity to play with peers their own age. We also make use of the adjacent outdoor space. When children go to another location, we pay extra attention to the transition by involving children in the preparation, giving tours, and organizing getting-to-know-you activities.
