H3O Peuteropvang De Regenboog Noordendijk

Welcome to H3O Peuteropvang De Regenboog Noordendijk, a warm and small-scale toddler day-care located right in the centre of Dordrecht. We are housed in the beautifully and sustainably renovated Integral Child Centre at Noordendijk 250, where toddler care, primary education and after-school care are united under one roof. Our premises are bright, open and decorated in soft colours that radiate calm and security. From the central hall the children can walk straight into our large natural playground where they discover the world around them through play. We provide care for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. The children are placed in one toddler group: "de Wolken" (the Clouds). In this horizontal group every toddler has the space to develop at his or her own pace. Our pedagogical staff challenge the children to play, discover and learn new things. We work with overarching themes following the pre-school educational programme Uk & Puk, through which we stimulate language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way. Colouring and crafting are of course part of the day: toddlers are given daily opportunities to draw, paint and craft with different materials. Our reading corner invites story time and independent browsing; our own ‘Jet Book-Fun’ regularly visits with her suitcase of books to bring the stories even more to life. The natural playground offers plenty of space to play outside, build sandcastles, balance and explore together. We provide tasty and healthy food and drinks so that every child is well cared for throughout the day. Parents are very welcome to come and have a look without obligation.
