H. Bijlsma t.h.o.d.n. Thuishuis de Bernebeam

Welcome to Thuishuis de Bernebeam, a warm and small-scale childcare centre located at Foarwei 116 in Kollumerzwaag. Led by Hiltsje Bijlsma, we provide care for up to 8 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. At our centre, everything revolves around natural discovery and being outdoors. Every day, we head outside to explore the wonders of nature. In our spacious green garden, children can play freely, romp around and help out in the vegetable garden. Together we grow fruit and vegetables, which we then harvest and eat. In this playful way, children learn where food comes from. A special feature of Thuishuis de Bernebeam is the presence of our dog Sonic. He is with us almost daily and helps children learn to interact with animals in a respectful manner. This interaction contributes to your child's social and emotional development. We operate with a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates the development of both younger and older children. Our childcare is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. We offer flexible childcare, where you only pay for the hours your child is actually present. During holiday weeks, when we are closed, no charges apply. Additionally, you can make use of childcare allowance, making our services affordable for many parents.
