Welcome to KDV Guldenhuis, our daycare centre located in the Mettegeupel district of Oss. We are part of AVEM Kinderopvang and provide care for up to 57 children aged 0 to 4. From the very first meeting we focus on recognising what your child needs and together we choose the group that best suits your child’s development and daily rhythm. In this way we create a familiar environment in which your child feels safe and secure. Our premises are spacious and have a homely atmosphere. The groups are carefully arranged with corners for play, rest and discovery. We work with fixed pedagogical staff who know every child well and closely follow each child’s development. Thanks to the small scale we can quickly respond to the needs of children and parents and offer calm, regularity and recognition. Outside we have a safe, green play area where children can run, climb and explore. We believe it is important for children to spend plenty of time outdoors and learn to appreciate nature. The garden is designed for different age groups and encourages imaginative play and motor development. AVEM Kinderopvang stands for professional childcare with attention to every child. Our staff are qualified and regularly attend refresher training. We follow AVEM’s pedagogical policy, which is based on the principles of Early Childhood Education (VVE). This means we work purposefully on language, numeracy and social skills in a playful and relaxed way, tailored to your child’s age and development.
