Groene wereld Luchtkasteel

Welcome to Groene Wereld Luchtkasteel! Our daycare is located at Rijksweg 121 in Rijen, right next to the Gilze-Rijen airbase forests. Here children aged 0 to 4 hear birds singing, breathe fresh forest air and experience a new adventure every day. We are a small-scale, certified Green Childcare centre. Being outdoors and connecting with nature are at the heart of everything we do. Our large garden is a true discovery garden: children help in our vegetable patch, pick their own strawberries and feed the chickens. Rain, sun, wind or snow – we head outside in every season. Even the youngest babies nap outdoors in special outdoor cribs, safe and wonderfully airy. We run two broad horizontal groups (0-3 years) and one toddler group (2-4 years). Within each group there is plenty of room for age-specific activities. Toddlers dance, sing and join children’s yoga while babies rest peacefully. Together we prepare a healthy lunch with organic produce, often harvested from our own garden. Our experienced pedagogical professionals are ready every day to guide your child’s development with warm attention and expert care.
