BSO Het Toekannest

Welcome to BSO Het Toekannest, our colourful after-school care centre located at Zanzibarplein 72 in the Oosterheem district of Zoetermeer. As part of gro-up childcare, we provide a trusted place where children aged 4 to 12 can relax, play and discover new things after school. At the end of the school day our pedagogical staff collect the children from the connected primary schools and walk them to our location. In our spacious, homelike group rooms children can choose what they want to do: rest with a book, be creative, play outside or join one of the activities we offer daily. We tailor the programme to the age and interests of the children and give them space to discover their own talents. During school holidays and study days our BSO is open all day. Then we make it a celebration: we go on outings to playgrounds, museums or the forest, do sports and play in nature, or work on creative projects. Everything is done in consultation with the children, because at Het Toekannest we value their opinion. Our professional staff know every child and guide them with great pleasure, professionalism and dedication. We work closely with parents and schools in the neighbourhood, so the transition from school to after-school care runs smoothly. At Het Toekannest every child feels safe, seen and can discover the world in their own way.
