IKC De Kasteeltuyn

Welcome to BSO De Kasteeltuyn, part of IKC De Kasteeltuyn located in the vibrant Palenstein district of Zoetermeer. Our after-school care is housed in a beautifully renovated building at Rakkersveld 141, where children aged 4 to 12 find a familiar and safe place to play, discover and grow after school hours. At BSO De Kasteeltuyn we follow the Jenaplan philosophy, focusing on rest, play and discovery. Children join a fixed peer group, creating strong bonds and ensuring every child feels safe and seen. We offer a wide range of activities in collaboration with local professionals. We work with Palenstein's sports coach for sports activities, introducing children to various sports and movement in a playful way. Our location is small-scale with a homely, warm atmosphere. Every child knows each other and our pedagogical staff provide personal attention. We believe it's important that children can develop at their own pace and unwind after a busy school day in a familiar environment. We provide space for free play, creative activities and relaxation, while also organizing structured activities that match the children's interests. BSO De Kasteeltuyn works closely with the primary school within the same IKC, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care where children and staff know each other well.
