BSO Het Eendennest, Trompstraat

Welcome to BSO Het Eendennest, located at Trompstraat 7 in the heart of Zoetermeer-Dorp. We are an after-school care facility operated by gro-up childcare, serving children aged 4 to 12 who attend primary school. Although we share a building with the day-care centre, we have our own entrance so children immediately step into their own BSO world. Our motto is ‘playing together, growing together’. Each child is paired with a dedicated pedagogical staff member who acts as a mentor. After school, children enter through the BSO door and follow a clear daily rhythm: first a moment to unwind with a drink and a snack, then free choice of activities. We offer both indoor and outdoor options. Inside, cosy corners are set up for building, crafting, reading or quiet play. Outside, children can enjoy a front yard with a panna field and an adventurous ‘jungle garden’ behind the building, complete with a climbing frame and rope bridge for active exploration and sports. We run a standard schedule: during term time our staff are on site from 14:15 to 17:30 or 14:15 to 18:30. In the holidays we adjust hours based on expected attendance. Parents receive all practical information through our parent app, and every new child is invited to two settling-in sessions to feel at home quickly. After three months we hold an evaluation meeting with parents to discuss how things are going. In short, at BSO Het Eendennest children have the space to be themselves, discover their interests and grow in a safe, familiar environment.
