Welcome to Buitenschoolse opvang Xie-Je, located in the Dordrecht Free School at Dubbelmondestraat 1 in Dordrecht. We are a small-scale after-school care facility with an anthroposophical character, providing daily care for up to 44 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location is situated in the same building as the primary school, allowing children to play and relax in a familiar environment immediately after school. At Xie-Je, we work with natural play materials such as wood, felt, wool and clay. We believe in the power of simplicity and tranquility, where there is room for imagination and creativity. Our pedagogical staff provide a warm and homely atmosphere in which every child can be themselves. We regularly organize activities such as crafting with natural materials and excursions to the forest, focusing on the seasons and nature. We work closely with the Dordrecht Free School and align with their norms, values and pedagogical policy. This means we pay attention to rhythm, repetition and tranquility in daily care. We offer organic snacks and pay great attention to conscious handling of food and the environment. Our after-school care is open on school days and during holidays. During vacation periods, we join forces with BSO De Zonnewende, allowing us to offer an even broader range of activities together. We provide transportation to and from affiliated schools, so parents can use our care services worry-free.
