BSO KC De Touwladder

BSO KC De Touwladder is located at Velddreef 322 in Zoetermeer Seghwaert and is part of Kindcentrum De Touwladder. We provide after-school care for children aged 4 to 13 and work closely with the primary school located in the same building. After school, our pedagogical staff pick the children up from their classrooms and the afternoon full of fun and challenges begins. Our location accommodates up to 64 children and consists of three cosy group rooms, furnished like a home with different play corners. Children can choose what they want to do: relax with a snack, do homework, be creative or chat with friends. We actively involve the children in thinking up activities; a large board at the entrance lists the week's activities. Our activities range from creative and sporting challenges to cooking workshops and technical projects. Outside we have a spacious, enclosed playground with a sandbox and grass field. We also use the adjacent public neighbourhood field. Three afternoons a week a sports instructor is present who playfully introduces the children to various sports. During school holidays we organise a festive activity programme with scavenger hunts in the neighbourhood, visits to the petting zoo, water parties and creative workshops. As part of the Kindcentrum, we not only share spaces with the primary school, but also knowledge about each child's development.
