BSO Het Kwartelnest

At after-school care Het Kwartelnest, located in public primary school 't Reigerbos on Burgemeester Klinkhamerweg 86 in Zevenhuizen, your child enjoys a wonderful time once the last school bell rings. We use two classrooms and the auditorium, giving us plenty of space for a wide range of activities. We work with three horizontal age groups: the Red Pandas and Green Crocs (4-7 years) play in the kindergarten rooms, while the Blue Butterflies (6-8 years) have the auditorium at their disposal. Every month we introduce a new theme with matching activities such as cooking, crafts, sports and science experiments. We have a play kitchen, shop, reading nook, sand table and a sensory table that we adapt to the theme. When the weather is nice we use the schoolyard and our own outdoor area; during holidays we organise extra trips to playgrounds in Zevenhuizen and unique activities such as volleyball clinics, bouncy castles and silent disco. Once a year the children present a special act during gro-up on stage at the Harvest Festival. Each day starts together with a drink and piece of fruit, after which children choose what they want to do. Feel free to come and experience the atmosphere!
