BSO De Lente

BSO De Lente is a welcoming after-school care centre located inside De Eendragt primary school at De Lente 1 in Zevenhuizen. We provide care for primary-school children aged 4 to 13 after school hours and during school holidays. Children from De Eendragt as well as from ’t Reigerbos primary school are warmly welcome. Our qualified staff collect the children from their classrooms or the school playground every day. On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday we stay at our own location in De Eendragt. On Wednesday and Friday we cycle the children by cargo bike to our nearby Koningskwartier child centre, which offers extra space and facilities. Together with the children we decide each day which activities to organise. We offer a varied and challenging programme from which the children can choose. Activities range from cooking and baking to sports and outdoor play on the spacious playground with natural and challenging materials. During holidays we run a festive programme with exciting outings and creative projects. After school we start with a moment to unwind: chatting about the day while enjoying fresh fruit and water or tea. Around 5 p.m. we share a cracker or a treat we prepared during a cooking activity. Parents can pick up their children until 6:30 p.m. Healthy food is a given: we serve fresh fruit daily and create a safe, homely atmosphere where every child feels welcome.
