De Sleekoepel

Welcome to BSO De Sleekoepel, our cheerful after-school care located at Sleedoornlaan 35 in Rotterdam. We are part of Gro-up Kinderopvang and provide care for 52 children aged 4 to 12 years. Our location features a large enclosed outdoor playground and an adjacent green play area where children can play to their heart's content. At De Sleekoepel, we believe it's important that every child feels at home. Our pedagogical staff take ample time to talk with each child about the things that occupy their minds. From a new baby brother or sister to a school test, from an argument with a friend to an upcoming birthday. We love building personal relationships with all children who come to us. We work age-appropriately, where each age group receives tailored activities. Toddlers have their own living room, while children 7 and older can relax in their special chill space. Children are free to move through all areas and choose who and where they want to play with. With older children, we form a children's council so they can help decide on activities. Our location features special spaces including a nature garden with vegetable patch, an atelier for creative expression, a construction space for building, a stage for performances, and a quiet corner for reading or homework. During holidays, we work with themes and organize daily outings or bring fun activities to our location. We collaborate with BSO Het Ritme during holidays, allowing children to make new friends.
