Grettingalaan

Welcome to BSO Grettingalaan, part of Kindcentrum Harlingen! We are centrally located in Harlingen at Grettingalaan 8, right next to Prins Johan Friso primary school. Our after-school care is a place of discovery for children aged 4 to 12. We have space for up to 40 children and are open during every school holiday from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:15 PM. Our spacious location features a creative studio, our own vegetable garden, a large outdoor playground AND a professional kitchen where children can cook themselves. We believe children learn best through play. Together with a biologist, we explore nature, harvest vegetables from our garden and prepare delicious meals from our own harvest in our kitchen. This way, children learn where their food comes from! Every day is an adventure with us. We build huts, create art in the studio and regularly go on excursions. The children help decide which activities we do, because we believe children develop best when they feel safe and comfortable. We are a Healthy Childcare location and pay lots of attention to healthy food and exercise. Our childcare professionals are specialized in guiding school-age children. We work closely with nearby primary schools, ensuring a smooth transition from school to after-school care. Feel free to visit our location and meet our team!
