Welcome to Green House Childcare – location Het Poppenhuis at Zandvoortselaan 61 in Heemstede. We are a small-scale daycare centre where up to 13 children aged 2 to 4 feel at home. Registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 November 2023 (LRK 294419093), we work closely with our sister location Het Konijnenhuis at number 69, which welcomes babies and toddlers from 6 months to 3 years. Our approach centres on recognising what each child can already do and supporting what they want to learn. Our pedagogical staff create meaningful learning moments by carefully observing the children’s interests and responding intelligently. We value free play in a rich, stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors. The garden invites discovery, running, sand play and nature experiences; inside you will find cosy corners, creative materials and a homely atmosphere. Every child is unique, with individual talents, humour and background. We look through a holistic lens: we take the time to understand each family’s culture and home situation and tailor our approach to the child’s developmental level. In this way we stimulate language, social skills and self-confidence in one continuous process. We work in horizontal groups so that activities perfectly match the world of 2- to 4-year-olds.
