Graspiepers

Welcome to Peuteropvang de Graspiepers, part of Waardse Kids Childcare. We are located on the ground floor of the beautiful MFA De Vogelweide at Merellaan 3 in Schoonhoven-Oost. In our spacious, bright group space, toddlers immediately feel at home. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. With us, everything revolves around learning and discovering through play. We work with the specially developed educational program Uk & Puk. Puk is our doll who undertakes all activities together with the children. Themes such as 'Welcome Puk', 'Being Sick' and 'Me and My Family' fit perfectly with toddlers' world of experience. During these themes, children learn about colors, shapes, numbers and letters. They discover concepts like big and small, long and short. They also learn about healthy food and get to take care of Puk with plasters and bandages. Our pedagogical staff provide varied activities every day. We craft, sing and dance. Outdoor play is important for motor development. Our garden offers plenty of play opportunities. We pay a lot of attention to language development. The Dutch language is central to all our activities. As a parent, you stay informed through our handy parent app. We share personal photos and messages so you can enjoy your child's experiences. Through the app, you can easily view and change things. We are a recognized training company and member of the Childcare Industry Organization. Together we ensure that your child makes the transition to primary school with pleasure and confidence.
