Welcome to Graaf Jantje Daycare Laren! Since 2015 our small-scale childcare centre has been located at Koeslagstraat 2b, right in the heart of the village. We provide care for up to 29 children aged 0–4 in a homely, familiar and cosy environment. Our permanent pedagogical staff give every child personal attention and love. Sport, play and fun come first. We encourage learning through play and movement with a fantastic movement floor and a large indoor play area featuring a ball pit and construction corner. Through colour and counting games, music-making and storytelling sessions with our reading grandma, we prepare the children for primary school in a playful way. In this way they develop cognitive, motor and social-emotional skills. Once a month we visit the elderly with dementia at care facility Talma; a special encounter that touches both young and old. We also go on regular outings linked to the current theme, allowing the children to discover the world around them. Our natural outdoor play area offers plenty of space to run, climb and romp. We deliberately choose small groups and a personal approach so that every child feels safe and at home. Graaf Jantje Daycare Laren: a place where your child grows up with a smile.
