Welcome to Graaf Jantje Daycare Gorssel, our warm and welcoming childcare center located in the heart of the village at Molenweg 53. We provide care for 35 children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely environment where every child feels safe and at home. Our location is situated in 'Het Trefpunt', a space we have completely adapted to the needs of young children. We work with small groups and permanent pedagogical staff who give your child personal attention. Our spaces are cozily furnished and we have a large natural outdoor playground where children can play and discover to their heart's content. Additionally, we regularly use the sports hall for sports and play activities that match the developmental stage of young children. At Graaf Jantje, we believe it's important that children learn to discover the world around them. That's why we regularly go on outings. We visit the playground Bolderhoek around the corner, go to the forest for nature experiences, or take a trip to playground Dondertman. A special moment is when we go grocery shopping with the children at Jumbo - an educational activity that lets children discover the world in a playful way. Our reading grandmother regularly visits to read from picture books. This not only stimulates language development but also creates close bonds between generations. Several times a year we visit the elementary school to playfully prepare children for primary education, introducing them to the school environment in a playful manner. We consciously choose a small-scale approach with personal attention. Our pedagogical staff are professional and involved, without using substitute staff. This continuity in guidance contributes to a familiar environment in which children can develop optimally.
