About this care
AI
BSO Harfsen is part of Graaf Jantje Kinderopvang, a small-scale organisation that has been providing professional childcare in a natural environment close to schools and in the heart of the village since 2009. Our after-school care is located in Dorpshuus Hoeflo, right next to Beatrix primary school in Harfsen. The site is practical and safe: children can walk straight to us after school and parents can park easily at the door.
We believe in small groups, familiar faces and short lines of communication. Our pedagogical staff know every child and tailor activities to the needs of the group. In Harfsen the focus is on technology: we have specially developed materials with which children can experiment, build and discover. Think of programmable robots, simple circuits and construction sets that spark curiosity.
Besides technology, there is plenty of room for movement and nature. We use the nearby sports hall and outdoor area for sports and games. We regularly organise trips to the farm, the forest or the playground. Themes such as ‘Graaf Jantje on a world trip’ turn every holiday into an adventure. During study days and school holidays we are open all day and offer a varied programme with creative, sporting and technical workshops.
Parents appreciate our personal approach and flexible childcare options. We do not use temporary staff, but work with a permanent team that ensures continuity and trust. Graaf Jantje BSO Harfsen: a homely place where children can relax, play and discover after school.Read more
