Welcome to Nature BSO Gorsebos, the perfect place for children who love outdoor play and nature! Our after-school care is located in public primary school De Ranonkel in the Gors neighborhood of Purmerend. Since 2016, we have been offering a unique after-school experience with nature and adventure at its core. Our location is specially designed for children who enjoy being outdoors and are curious about the world around them. We are situated next to a large park, the Gorsebos, which provides us with the perfect play and learning environment. Additionally, we have our own wonderful outdoor space and access to the school's gymnasium. At BSO Gorsebos, we believe that children learn best by exploring and experiencing. Our pedagogical staff members Anja and Saskia explain: "At this after-school care, we really go on adventures and discovery trips. Children learn playfully about animals, the climate, and everything related to nature." We work with stick insects, listen to birds, and care for animals. Our activities are always focused on stimulating curiosity and developing knowledge about the natural world. We offer both before-school care (from 7:00 AM) and after-school care. For before-school care, we start the day calmly with activities of choice, after which we bring the children to their classroom on time. After school, we pick up children from OBS De Ranonkel, Trifolium, Alexander Roozendaalschool, and Vrije School Waterland. After a healthy snack, children can choose which activity to participate in, always under the guidance of our professional pedagogical staff. Our after-school care has three groups: Pioenroos, Ridderspoor, and the before-school care group. Each child is in a fixed base group with permanent pedagogical staff, ensuring familiarity and continuity. We operate with an open-door policy, where children can choose what they want to participate in. During school holidays and study days, we are open from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM. We always make it an extra special celebration with special workshops and activities. Parents always sign a 52-week contract with us, ensuring care is always available when needed. For extra vacation days, we offer the Vacation Care package. We communicate with parents through our Parent App, where we daily share photos and reports of the activities and development of the children.
