De Goudpot

Welcome to BSO de Goudpot. I am Myra den Ouden, location manager of BSO de Goudpot. BSO de Goudpot is located in primary school De Horizon in the Wold district. The youngest children from De Horizon and De Driemaster schools attend BSO de Goudpot. Afterwards, the children move on to BSO de Sloep, which is located in De Driemaster school on the same square as De Horizon. At BSO de Goudpot, children aged 4 to 12 come to learn, play and grow outside regular school hours in a safe and supportive environment. We strive to provide a stimulating and fun environment where children can develop at their own pace. Our location is open 52 weeks a year. We offer before-school care from 7:00 AM, including breakfast. After school, we are open every weekday until 6:30 PM. During holidays, we organize 9+ holiday care with a wide range of activities specially tailored to these age groups. We also provide care on public holidays. Parents can follow their child's day through the Konnect app. Via smartphone or tablet, they receive photos, view a personal diary of their child with photos and reports, and receive current news. Parents also have digital access to placements, data, invoices and annual statements. We value parental involvement. We involve parents, for example, when picking up and dropping off their child, but also by inviting them to an information evening or parent meeting. Sometimes we ask parents to be present at the conclusion of an activity. We aim for an active parent committee at our location.
