Leef Kind Swalmen Gevaren BSO

Welcome to Leef Kind Swalmen Gevaren BSO, our welcoming after-school care centre at Gevaren 3 in the heart of Swalmen. We provide care for up to 60 children aged 4 to 12 and work closely with primary school Lambertus, located directly across the street, so children can reach us quickly and safely after school. Our centre is spread across a ground floor and first floor, each designed for different age groups. Downstairs, younger children enjoy dedicated corners: an arts-and-crafts area where they can paint, cut and glue to their heart’s content, a construction zone with LEGO and Kapla, and a cosy reading corner with cushions and picture books. Upstairs, older children have their own chill-out space with table tennis, a football game and comfy beanbags for relaxing or doing homework. Every month we explore a new theme—such as ‘Space Travel’, ‘The Middle Ages’ or ‘Ocean Adventure’—supported by creative activities, craft projects and sometimes even a small celebration. Our qualified pedagogical staff guide the children, ensuring every child can participate at their own level. Outside, we have a spacious green playground. Toddlers can play in a wooden playhouse with slide and an outdoor kitchen for making mud pies, while older children climb the large play structure, play dodgeball or enjoy football in the sandpit. We go outside almost every day unless the weather is truly bad. We offer care on school days from 07:00 to 08:30 (before-school care) and from 14:30 to 18:30 (after-school care). During school holidays we are open from 07:30 to 18:30 and organise extra outings to places like the Speelbos or the swimming pool. At Leef Kind, the child is always at the centre.
