Fris! Kinderdagverblijven De Schakel - Hoeven peuteropvang

Peuteropvang De Schakel-Hoeven is part of Fris! Kinderopvang and is located on the ground floor of primary school De Schakel at Rederijkershoeve 21 in Apeldoorn. We provide care for up to 16 children in a single toddler group, guiding children aged 2 to 4 as they playfully grow towards independence. Our approach is rooted in the Dalton principles that have guided Fris! since its founding: confident, playful, caring, connected and structured. Together with our hand-puppet Puk – from the Uk & Puk method – children explore the world around them. Each morning begins with a circle time where the current theme is discussed, followed by development-focused activities such as crafts, movement or games. Whenever the weather permits, we head outside to the spacious, challenging schoolyard with plenty of play equipment. Outdoor play is essential to us: children can run, climb and discover nature. In between, we enjoy fresh fruit and juice, and around noon we share a sandwich together. The morning concludes with free play in various play corners, allowing children to let their imagination run free. Thanks to our unique location within the school, we create a smooth transition with the Dalton education provided by De Schakel. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the teachers, familiarising children with the school environment from an early age. We take pride in ensuring every child shines and feels seen, with love and passion.
