Fris! Kinderdagverblijven De Schakel - Hoeven BSO

BSO De Schakel-Hoeven is part of Fris! Kinderopvang and is located on the ground floor of primary school De Schakel at Rederijkershoeve 21 in Apeldoorn. We provide after-school care for up to 46 children aged 4 to 12. Because we are literally situated on the same premises as the primary school, children simply walk in after classes. This direct connection creates calm and familiarity: the children stay in their trusted surroundings and parents do not need to make an extra trip. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every afternoon to offer children a safe and challenging place. We work from the belief that every child is unique and deserves the space to discover themselves. Learning through play, making independent choices and working together are central. The space is divided into different corners for crafting, building, reading or simply relaxing. Whenever possible we also use the adjacent playgrounds and the green areas in the neighbourhood for outdoor activities. We maintain an open collaboration with the teachers of De Schakel. This way our activities seamlessly connect with what the children experienced during the day and we can provide extra support for any developmental points.
