Freekids Peuterspelen 't Kogerveld

Welcome to Freekids Peuterspelen ’t Kogerveld, located inside OBS Kogerveld at Perzikkruidweg 4 in Zaandam. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a familiar, small-scale setting with a maximum of 32 places. Our groups are organised horizontally, so children stay with peers of the same age. Everything we do revolves around learning through play. Our special educational programme combines singing, language games and story time with plenty of movement through interactive games. In this way we stimulate not only language development but also toddlers’ social skills. We align our approach with the primary-school teachers to ensure a smooth transition into the reception class. We run two fixed morning sessions: Group 1 Monday to Thursday and Group 2 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, always from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You can therefore choose the session that best suits your family. Toddlers with an early-education (VVE) indication attend 16 hours per week. Our pedagogical staff give every toddler the individual attention they need. We believe it is important that children feel safe and free to discover their talents. That is why the child is always at the centre: together we look for each child’s strengths in a homely environment.
