Freekids Peuterspelen de Mei

Welcome to Freekids Peuterspelen de Mei, located at Voltastraat 15A in Wormerveer. We offer toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. Our location is part of Freekids Peuterzorg B.V. and works closely with primary school De Mei, ensuring a continuous developmental pathway. We focus on learning through play. Our educational programme is tailored to the needs of toddlers. Children take part in creative activities such as drawing, painting and crafting, as well as physical activities like dancing and building. Special attention is given to language development and social skills. We encourage children to play together, communicate and explore at their own pace. Our toddler care is open from Monday to Thursday. We offer fixed half-day sessions, with flexible options for parents. We use the digital parent portal Kindplanner, where parents can log in to receive updates about their child, request extra days or communicate changes. Photos of activities are also shared regularly, provided parents have given consent. We provide pre-school education (VVE) and receive municipal subsidies to maintain the quality of our programme. A maximum of two VVE children per group receive additional support in language stimulation. Our pedagogical staff are supported by a VVE coach and a pedagogical coach. At Freekids Peuterspelen de Mei, we value parental involvement. Each child is assigned a mentor who serves as the main contact for parents.
