Welcome to Freekids Peuterspelen de Lindenboom, located in the heart of Koog aan de Zaan on the ground floor of primary school De Lindenboom at Raadhuisstraat 57. As part of Freekids Peuterzorg B.V., we have been providing professional toddler care for more than 30 years for children aged 2 to 4. Our location is an officially recognized Integral Child Center (IKC) where toddler care and primary education seamlessly connect. We operate with one fixed core group accommodating a maximum of 16 children per session. This horizontal grouping means all children are in the same age category, which benefits development and group dynamics. Our professional pedagogical staff use the VVE program Piramide, a recognized method for Early and Preschool Education specifically tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers. Our daily program is thoughtfully structured and starts every morning at 8:30 AM. We follow a consistent daily rhythm consisting of group play, creative activities such as drawing, painting and crafting, language stimulation through reading and singing, and healthy snacks with fruit and drinks. Outdoor play is an essential part of our offering; our own secured outdoor play area provides ample space for movement and discovery. We are open 40 school weeks per year from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM, aligned with the primary school schedule. Parents are actively involved through our Kindplanner system, which allows you to easily request extra days or report absences. We organize quarterly themed meetings in collaboration with Centrum Jong, where parents receive information about parenting and development. Our mentor structure ensures a fixed contact person for each child, who closely monitors development and communicates with parents about progress. After 1.5 to 2 years of toddler care, we provide a careful transition to primary school, ensuring your child gets a flying start in group 1.
