Welcome to Freekids Peuterspelen de Delta, located at the heart of Integral Child Centre De Delta, Beemdgras 3 in Assendelft. We provide toddler play for children aged 2 to 4 in a safe, familiar environment where development is central. Our pedagogical staff give every toddler the personal attention they need to grow. With us, toddlers learn social skills in a playful way and get a flying start with the Dutch language. We offer a varied programme in which creative activities such as drawing, painting and crafts alternate with movement activities that stimulate gross and fine motor skills, such as building and dancing. The activities are tailored to each child’s world of experience and developmental stage. Because we are part of IKC De Delta, we work closely with the primary school teachers. This coordination ensures that your child is already familiar with the environment and the teachers when the transition to the kindergarten class takes place. We provide a careful handover so that your child can take the next step smoothly and confidently. Our toddler play is offered on fixed half-days: Monday to Friday from 8.15 am to 12.15 pm. On Tuesdays and Thursdays extended care is available until 1.45 pm. We use a horizontal group structure so that children can play and learn with peers. There is room for a maximum of 16 toddlers, allowing us to work on a small and manageable scale. We look forward to meeting you and your child.
