Freekids BSO Assendelft

Welcome to Freekids BSO Assendelft XL, located at Dorpsstraat 1041A in the heart of Assendelft. We are more than just an after-school care facility; we offer an inspiring place where children aged 4 to 13 can explore, play and grow. Our location is spacious and features three core groups: the Green and Purple groups (ages 4-13) and the Yellow group (ages 7-13). In total, we can accommodate up to 120 children per day. Our pedagogical staff follow a clear pedagogical policy focused on security, structure and child participation. Each child is assigned to a fixed core group with familiar faces and a personal mentor who serves as the main contact for parents. We provide both before- and after-school care, including care during study days and holidays. Children are picked up and dropped off at nearby primary schools. Our facility includes a unique layout with various rooms: a construction room, arts & crafts area, football hall, doll corner, teen room, building blocks room, theatre space, cinema and an outdoor area on the rooftop terrace. Children can enjoy trampolines, climbing frames and take part in sports and creative activities. We have an activities committee that ensures a varied programme, especially during holidays. We communicate with parents through the Kindplanner system, where parents can see which staff member is their child’s mentor, request extra days and register absences. We share at least one message with a photo of special moments daily. We value parental involvement and regularly organise parent committee meetings. Our opening hours are from 07:00 to 18:30. We offer flexible care and follow a clear daily rhythm that balances structure and freedom.
