Freekids De Watermolen

Freekids De Watermolen provides after-school care (BSO) for children aged 4 to 12 in Koog aan de Zaan. Located at Molenwerf 1e, our facility is part of the Freekids organization, which has been active in childcare in the Zaan region for over 20 years. We offer before-school care, after-school care, and holiday care. The BSO is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. On Wednesday we provide care from the end of school until 6:30 PM. We work with fixed base groups where children can play, discover and relax in a familiar environment after a school day. Our pedagogical staff offer a varied program with activities that match the children's interests. We believe it is important that children can be themselves and have fun, while also learning new things and developing social skills. The location has a capacity of up to 20 children and operates according to the legal Professional Child Ratio. We provide care for children from primary schools in the area. Our language of communication is Dutch and we work with a parent portal through which parents can easily communicate about their child's care. During holiday periods we offer holiday care, so parents can also use our services during school holidays.
