Fluitschip

IKC Het Fluitschip is located in the heart of Hoorn-Noord, at Hogerbeetsstraat 14. We are part of Talent for Childcare and Education and work closely with Bernardus van Bockxmeer primary school, Stichting Netwerk and the public library. This makes us a true Integral Child Centre, open to children from 0 to 12 years of age. Our day-care section offers a safe, homely environment for babies and toddlers. We organise horizontal groups, so babies and toddlers play and sleep separately. Our qualified staff follow the Early Childhood Education programme Startblokken, stimulating language and cognitive development from the very first months. We welcome up to 32 children at a time and are open 52 weeks a year, from 7 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Everything we do is built on calm, structure and familiarity. Children see the same faces every day and follow a clear daily rhythm. Nappy changes, bottle feeding and naps are carried out exactly according to your child’s home routine. Parents can opt for half-day or full-day care and benefit from flexible contracts. We encourage parental involvement; daily hand-over chats and regular one-to-one meetings are standard practice.
